The town of Cody, known as the “Rodeo Capital of the World,” has a population of about 10,000.
The property is called Monster Lake Ranch, since, according to the listing by J.P. King Auction Co., the property is overflowing with freshwater lakes full of huge "monster trout." The ranch has two homes, eight cabins, as well as a restaurant, events center, and several barns and horse corrals. It was most recently on the market for $14 million.
It apparently boasts 2 fresh water lakes, a restaurant, an event center and meeting facilities, as well as trout fishing facilities renowned as some of the best in the country.
The picturesque 3,000-acre property features a ranch-style main house, a horse barn, corrals, two small cabins near a private lake, a cattle ranch, a live-in caretaker, a bird barn with room for 1,500 birds, and plenty of storage for all the ranch equipment.
